✨Payment Schedule✨

  • 💗Deposit: 30% (Non-refundable, applied towards purchase price)

*Please be advised: If you intend to make payment via Zelle or Venmo on the pick-up date, we recommend confirming with your bank beforehand, as they may have daily transaction limits or verification processes in place (which may take up to 3 days). Additionally, for Venmo payments, please note a 1.75% processing fee (charged by Venmo, maximum $25). This fee can be avoided if the payment is sent at least 48 hours before the pickup day.

    • Balance Due: One day before the pick-up date.

✨Adoption Process✨

  1. 💗Application Form: To help us better understand your preferences and lifestyle, please complete our application form. This will enable us to match you with the ideal kitten.
  2. 💗Kitten Availability: Our pet kittens will be spayed/neutered and ready for their new homes at approximately 13 to 14 weeks, while kittens with Breeding Rights can leave around 12 weeks.
  3. 💗Spay/Neuter Requirement: We adhere strictly to our policy that no pet kitten will be permitted to leave before 13 weeks AND must be spayed/neutered before leaving. This policy ensures the health and well-being of our kittens, and there are no exceptions.
  4. 💗Visitation Policy:  We understand your desire to visit and interact with our kittens; however, for health and safety reasons, our cattery is closed to visits. Nevertheless, we are committed to ensuring that you stay connected with your chosen kitten throughout the adoption process.
  • 💗FaceTime Sessions: We are delighted to offer FaceTime sessions for prospective owners to virtually meet and interact with their selected kitten. This provides an opportunity for you to see the kitten in real-time and ask any questions you may have.
  • 💗Updated Media: To keep you involved and informed, we provide regular updates in the form of pictures and videos every two weeks for customers who have placed a deposit. This allows you to witness your kitten’s growth and development until it is ready for pick-up.

✨Pick-up and Reservation✨

  • Customers will be provided with a pickup date upon reservation. If necessary, we may extend the pick-up date if the kitten has not reached a minimum weight of 3 lbs. for spaying/neutering.
  • Failure to pick up the kitten on the determined date will result in the assumption that the buyer no longer wants the kitten, and it will be placed back up for sale.

Contract and Cattery Policy:

  • All kittens will be sold with a contract to protect the interests of both the buyer and the seller, as well as the well-being of the kitten.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the sale if we believe it is not in the best interest of our kittens or our cattery.

Kitten Availability and Pricing:

Our kittens are available exclusively through a waitlist system. Please visit our “Kitten Waitlist” page for detailed information. The typical waiting period is approximately 1-3 months, depending on specific client requirements.

Our kittens start at $1850, and we assure you that our prices are competitive, and fair compared to other local breeders. Please note that prices are non-negotiable. Rest assured, all our kittens undergo thorough veterinary examinations and receive necessary vaccinations and deworming treatments.

✨Delivery & Shipping Services✨

We strive to make the process of bringing your new kitten home as convenient as possible. Here are the delivery and shipping options available:

  1. 💗Personal Delivery: Upon request, we can personally deliver your kitten within a 125-mile radius (approximately 2 hours) from our Cattery, for $1.00 per mile ($30 minimum). Prior to delivery, a price quote will be provided, and payment is due in cash, Zelle, or Venmo upon receipt of your kitten. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery for long-distance customers beyond a 125-mile radius at this time. Alternatively, we are happy to meet you at Houston IAH or Hobby Airport if you wish to fly in to pick up your kitten.
  2. 💗Flight Nanny Service: For customers who require shipping, we offer a Flight Nanny Service at the buyer’s expense. Personal delivery with flight may also be arranged upon request.

✨Breeding Rights Policy✨

We carefully consider requests for breeding rights, which are exclusively offered to approved-established catteries outside of Texas that practice early spaying/neutering. Please note:

  • 💗Breeding Rights Fee: Breeding rights start at $2000, with a breeder kitten deposit of $500.

Kindly understand that we do not offer breeding rights to new or future catteries.

At Rainbow Tails Cattery, we prioritize the well-being and happiness of our kittens, ensuring they are healthy, socialized, and well-balanced before they join their forever homes. Here’s what you can expect when you adopt a kitten from us:

  1. Constant Communication: We provide regular updates and communication throughout your kitten’s stay with us, making the waiting period feel shorter.
  2. One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee: We stand by the health and quality of our kittens, offering a one-year genetic health guarantee for your peace of mind.
  3. TICA-Certified Pedigree: Your kitten will come with a 5-generation TICA-certified pedigree, showcasing their distinguished lineage.
  4. Registration Papers: We provide registration papers from The International Cat Association (TICA) for your kitten.
  5. Veterinary Care: Your kitten will receive comprehensive veterinary care and routine preventative treatments from birth until they come home with you.
  6. Health Records: You’ll receive detailed health and medical records for your kitten, ensuring you have all the necessary information for their care.
  7. Vaccinations and Deworming: Your kitten will be up to date on vaccinations, including 2 sets of FVRCP vaccines, and dewormed.
  8. Microchipping: For added peace of mind, your kitten will be microchipped.
  9. Spay/Neuter: Your kitten will be spayed or neutered before they come home with you.
  10. Grooming: Before pick-up, your kitten will receive a nail trim, ear cleaning, and a show-worthy bath and blow dry.
  11. Pet Carrier: We provide a new pet carrier or bag for your kitten’s safe transportation.
  12. Kitten Package: Your kitten will receive a package including supplies and toys to help with their transition to their new home.
  13. Photo/Video Updates: You’ll receive natural and professional-style photos directly to you through text, email, or Instagram, with updates provided every other week.
  14. Scheduled FaceTime Appointments: Upon request, we can schedule FaceTime appointments for you to see your kitten.
  15. Lifetime Breeder Support: We offer lifetime breeder support for you and your kitten, available anytime for any questions or concerns.
  16. Personal Delivery: If needed, your kitten can be personally delivered to the airport of your choice by a Flight Nanny or by the breeder (Sean/Emily) for pick-up.
